We are a specialist supplier of unusual and challenging building components for the interior and exterior decoration of architectural buildings with over 20 years experience. We find and develop solutions for architects and interior designers in search for unusual and individual glass products, solar control and lighting products as well as innovative fitting systems for glass.

We supply our products and advice to all professionals with an interest in the built environment such as architects, interior designers, construction contractors, planning and cost consultants, engineers, government bodies and educatioal institiutions.

Carl-Robert Kümpers joined Okalux in 1995 and realized several stunning projects with most major architects all over the world. Amongst others he supplied the external glazing for the Great Court of the British Museum by Foster + Partners, for the Seattle Central Library by OMA, Rathauspassagen Innsbruck by Dominique Perrault Architecture. He continued his work in the glass industry working for Schollglas and then Interpane. Carl-Robert Kümpers has extensive knowledge of all sorts of glass processing as well as combinations of glass and other materials. This enables him to assist architects and interior designers in creating the products they are searching for.
